Trends at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

 The 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, honoring the best achievements in film and television performances, were presented on the 29th of January and we bring you the stylish A listers that walked down the red carpet.

The SAG awards is fairly new, beginning only in 1995 but it is soon becoming one of THE events in show biz. It has also become one of those events where everyone showcases their stylish persona, giving everyone something to look and something to talk about. What better way to showcase a new dress, a new designer than an event watched by millions?

The classic theme of black and white was embraced by up and coming talents like Emilia Clarke from Game Of Thrones and Emma Stone best noted for The Help and Crazy, Stupid, Love. Both women looked stunning. Clarke donned a Chanel dress while Stone was in a McQueen.

Emily Blunt did color and it seemed like the color green was envious of her instead of the other way round. The Oscar De La Renta emerald green dress was classy-sexy with just the right hint at the thigh. Glee star Lea Michele wore a sexy Versace dress that has been battling on both the best and the worst dressed list. Perhaps she did take things a bit too far but its evident from the entire event that thighs seems to be the new cleavage! Seems like the Liz Hurley trend from the 90s is back with quite a bang!

And then we have the couples. Ladies in flowing dressings, the men in their penguin suits. George Clooney and Stacy Keibler and Brap Pitt and Angelina Jolie show how its done, couple style! Seems like Black was it for the IT couples this year.
