Our Color Of Choice!

If you’ve noticed, we talk a lot about color on our blog so we’re sure you have us figured out by now: we LOVE color! We hate the heat of summer but we do look forward to it for one reason and that’s fashion of course.

The spring/summer collections that hit the runway has all been about colors and celebrities everywhere – India and internationally, seem to have taken this certain liking for everything bright. Save Angelina Jolie who probably will marry and die in black, style icons like Beyonce, Diane kruger, Olivia Palermo, Scarlett Johannson, Kate Bosworth and Dakota Fanning have joined the “we-can’t-wait-for-spring/summer” band wagon. If you’ve noticed, all these women are style icons in different categories and they’ve shown us how one’s body type, weight, height and age is really not an issue when it comes to fashion and trends.

Pale pinks, nudes, oranges and tangerines are the summer color palettes. Make them your targets. You don’t need to be dressed head to toe in them but a little hint here and there would probably do the trick.

Both these colors are extremely complementary to the Indian skin tone and that’s another reason we’re loving them!
