From Runway To Street.

The runway is our first source of inspiration when it comes to trends. Even high street stores look to the runway designer collections to find some sort of inspiration. While most do a copy-paste job, some do a good job at it.

Rather than copying the entire outfit, it’s better to choose just one thing. It could be:

- Color scheme.

- Shape/Silhouette

- Print.

-Details.

The Lakme Fashion Week recently came to a close and this Summer Resort collection was pretty amazing! Each designer brought something new to their collection and to the ramp in general.

From simple drapes to modern saris, conceptual dresses to classic shapes… you could take your pick.

While we will be bringing you hot off the runway collections, fashionandyou.com has a surprise for you until then! We present “Sugar” a collection of dresses so chic and so trendy, even we were shocked!

On looking through this collection, we found some dresses that reminded us of some of the pieces we saw in the Lakme Fashion Week.

While it isn’t as easy as A,B,C to buy a designer piece, we think a reminder of something similar is quite alright! After all, a fashionista must make the most of what she can find.

Remember: The name is “Candy” and life will indeed be sweet in these dress!
